What Your Home Needs

What Your Home Needs

Having a clean, organized home is one of the best feelings in the world. It's a great refuge from the stress of work and school, and it can even help you think more clearly. But how do you start? If your space is already messy, it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the work you'll need to do—and that's why we're here! We've got some simple tips for giving your home an instant makeover: all it takes are some new towels, sheets and linens, lightbulbs, storage space, and a few other things that will help your house feel like home again!

A Properly Fitting Towel

A properly fitting towel is the first step in creating a spa-like experience at home. A towel should be big enough to wrap around your body, yet not so large that it becomes unwieldy or uncomfortable. It should be long enough to reach just above your ankles, but not so long as to drag on the floor. When you're done with your shower, you'll want a towel that's wide enough and thick enough for absorbing all of that moisture without leaving behind an annoying amount of dampness on surfaces all over your home.

A Lint Brush

A lint brush is an essential tool for removing hair and fuzz from clothing. It’s also good for cleaning upholstery, so you can use it to keep your couch looking sharp.

Sheets That Have Held Up

There’s nothing like the feeling of a crisp, fresh set of sheets. They make you feel comfortable and cozy, so you want to be sure that your sheets are top notch. Here are some tips for finding the best sheets:

Sheets with a good thread count (at least 400) will hold up over time, even after multiple washes.

Sheets should be soft but not too soft—the latter can actually cause wrinkles!

Sheets should be durable, since good quality ones will last for years without pilling or tearing at the seams.

When buying new sets of pillowcases and cases for mattresses and box springs, keep in mind that they may not fit perfectly right away if you're upgrading from an older model or size (this is especially true if it's been awhile since your last purchase). In this case, look for easy-to-wash materials such as polyester blends; these materials won't shrink when they're washed!

A Fresh Set of Linens

When you're getting ready to hit the sheets, it's important to make sure your bed is the right fit. That means choosing the right linens—not just a new set of sheets, but also pillowcases and blankets, if you want them. Linens are an essential part of having a comfortable sleep environment.

So what makes for a good set of linens? Well, there are two main types: percale and sateen. Percale is lighter weight than sateen, so it doesn't wrinkle as easily when washed; it also tends to be more affordable than sateen because it's easier to manufacture in bulk (this makes sense if you think about how many loads of laundry people do every day). Sateen can be more expensive because it has a luxurious feel due to its higher thread count (the number refers to how tightly woven together each individual fiber is), which feels smoother against your skin when making contact with clothes during washing or drying cycles at home (or at laundromats) than percales do---but if your budget doesn't allow for such luxuries yet then don't worry! You can still get away without spending too much on new linens by shopping around thrift stores or making some yourself outta old clothing! Just cut off those arm holes and collar tips before sewing them into place

A Plan for Wrinkles

Tired of constantly ironing your clothes? You can skip this chore altogether by using a steam iron. Most models have an automatic shut-off feature so you won't burn anything down, but some don't. If you're not sure which type to buy, ask a salesperson at the store before buying one online.

When you get home from work and want to be ready for bed in 30 minutes flat (or less!), consider investing in a garment steamer. It'll cut down on time spent picking out wrinkled clothes and make it easier for your family members to look their best every day!

If you're looking for something that's more budget friendly and takes up less space than both an ironing board and iron setup, try out our wrinkle release spray. It comes in small bottles so they're easy to pack when traveling away from home—just put them into zip-top bags before putting them into your suitcase or backpack!

Never enough lightbulbs

If you've got a home with more than one room, then you need to make sure that it has enough light bulbs—and good ones at that.

Depending on the size of your home and how many rooms it has, this can vary from a few dozen up to hundreds. You'll also want to take into account things like windows or skylights in your house (especially if they are big). I’m not going to tell you exactly how many light bulbs you should have on hand because no two homes are alike. Instead, consider these options:

Buy them in bulk so they're always available when needed! This way when one goes out, there's another ready to take its place.

Buy LED lights instead of incandescent bulbs since they require less electricity and last longer while emitting less heat than traditional bulbs do (which means fewer chances for fires).

Some Extra Storage Space

Storage is a great way to make the most of your home and minimize clutter. If you're looking for storage solutions, here are some tips:

Try to have at least one shelf in each room of your house. This will keep things from getting lost and help with organization.

Install hooks on doors or walls to hang towels and jackets, so they're easily accessible when needed.

Use baskets under desks or tables to store items like phone chargers, earphones and pens that can be forgotten otherwise.

Once you've got your storage space organized, it's time to fill it up!

An Iron and an Ironing Board

A household staple, an iron is a must-have. Ironing is a great way to relax after a long day at work or school and get in some much-needed exercise while de-stressing. You can even use it as an excuse to listen to your favorite music!

What’s more, you don't need to be super handy with the ironing board—just make sure you pick up one that has plenty of padding so it doesn't ruin your clothes when you press them down (or hurt you).

A properly cleaned Room

If a room is clean, it's easy to keep it organized and looking like you want it to. You can focus on what matters and get rid of anything that doesn't fit in the space you have.

To do this, start by cleaning up after yourself—everywhere. This means taking out the trash when something needs to be thrown away (or recycling or composting!), putting away toys after they're played with, returning clothes to their proper hangers or drawers as soon as you take them off and making sure dishes are washed right away so they don't pile up in the sink.

In your bathroom and kitchen, make sure things stay organized there too—wash your hands before leaving for school or work so germs aren't spread around; use antibacterial wipes on door handles when someone else has touched them; clean surfaces regularly with disinfectant spray; throw out expired food items promptly; only wash what's dirty at any given time; label everything in your fridge so no food gets lost!

Keep these items stocked and ready

By keeping these things stocked and ready to go, you can save a lot of time and effort in the long run. It’s better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it.

These are just a few examples of what your home might need in order to be prepared for emergencies. You may even find that there are some items that could be useful but aren't necessary for everyone, such as blankets or flashlights if you already have them at hand around the house (or solar lights if you don't). This can help cut down on costs while still providing peace of mind and security when necessary.

With these things in your home, you’ll be able to start and finish any cleaning job—no matter how big or small. You’ll be able to make sure that your bedding is fresh and unwrinkled, too! All of these things will help keep your home clean and tidy without spending hours doing it.
